Lyžiarske stredisko

Lyžiarske stredisko Ski Centrum Nižná – Uhliská sa nachádza pri obci Nižná nad Oravou v pohorí Skorušinské vrchy, 27 km severovýchodne od mesta Dolný Kubín, v blízkosti cesty I/59. 

Lyžiarsky areál pozostáva zo 4 lyžiarskych vlekov. Hlavný vlek má dĺžku 1400 m a prevýšenie 240 m, sprístupňuje ľahké (modré) až stredne ťažké (červené) zjazdovky. Tri kratšie vleky sú vhodné pre menej pokročilých lyžiarov. V stredisku je k dispozícii požičovňa lyží a snowboardov, lyžiarska škola, snowboardová škola a reštaurácia.
