Slnko je takmer stále za vami, keď lyžujete. Dreadnaught je strmý zhora nadol, ale aj zľava doprava, čo ho podľa mňa robí náročnejším a zaujímavejším. Začiatočníci môžu lyžovať zhora po dlhej zjazdovke bez rovinatého chodníka. Stredne pokročilí majú tri dobré zjazdovky, ktoré majú všetky veľmi strmé úseky. Je to blízko mesta, takže žiadna dlhá cesta domov. Personál je skvelý!

Zúfalo potrebujú vymeniť starý riblet lift, jeho dni sú preč a jazdia na ňom len na polovičnú rýchlosť. Niekto tam hore sa musí naučiť robiť nejaké skoky, pretože je tam veľmi málo prírodných odrazov a „park“ je dosť slabý. Zelená zjazdovka nie je vhodná pre začiatočníkov, v skutočnosti je tam stredná časť, ktorá je technicky modrá. Takmer vždy fúka vietor. Skrinky sú zadarmo, čo je fajn, a väčšina personálu je tam celkom priateľská. Jedlo v kaviarni je dobré, bar je pekný a toalety sú vždy čisté.

Hogadon has had its good years and it’s bad years. Unfortunately I’d consider the past couple of seasons as bad years. New lodge looks great, but under utilized. Full kitchen, yet the food is brought up pre-made and left under heat lamps. I will say that the bar is nice, terrific views and tasty drinks.
Snowpack is always an issue so I don’t hold it against Hogadon, though resorts with similar snowfall(i.e. Midwest and east coast resorts) will at least set up a terrain park loaded with features. Hogadon chooses to let great features just sit in the trees, never to be put up. This would probably attract more snowboarders which they are openly against. Bring back the Boomerang terrain park!
When the snow is good, there are good runs hidden in the trees and interesting natural features which are some redeeming qualities.

I have been skiing at Hogadon for over 35 years. It is a beautiful place, close to town and very affordable. The runs are good, with all different type of terrain. I always enjoy my visits.

Been riding this glorified sled hill for 30+ years. So grateful they decided to spend 4 million dollars on a new lodge on the top of the mountain with a bar instead of actually servicing the skiiers and snowboarders that go here by adding new grooming equipment, runs or an additional chairlift. Also no shuttle service so be sure not to drink to much. No jumps no rails runs are about 5 mins long w. a 45min wait to get to the top on the busy days. Also be sure to make way for ski patrol, and local high school ski team whom are more than happy to yell at you for breaking even a little infraction despite the fact you are only following their lines.

Tracy at Hogadon was really a great instructor. She helped me down the mountain a few years ago, and did a great job teaching my 4yr old nephew how to skii today.

Own and operated by the City of Casper, the Lodge is pretty ratty, but management says the city replacing it by winter of 17. Rental shop guy was pretty cool, my kids lesson was great leaving time for the wife and I explore the mtn. great day on the way back from Jackson! Cafe' foods tasty!
