Milujem tu deň s modrým vtákom! Nádherné výhľady a atmosféra.

S dcérou sme navštívili Shastu a dva dni sme lyžovali v polovici týždňa. Využila som permanentku Powder Alliance, pretože náš miestny kopec je Mt. Hood. Pozdravujem Michaela zo služieb zákazníkom... aký priateľský a ochotný muž!

Posledných pár rokov to s týmto miestom naozaj upadá, bez slovnej hračky. Hokey“.

This place is really slid downhill years past the grooming was meticulous and on time I've never seen so many times as this year where they're late to get the lifts operable it's called show up early and get your act together I just can't believe it it's really disappointing I've been skiing here for over 30 years and they talk about the best season yet but it's far from the best season yet I don't know if they're having problems hiring people or what it is but it's really hit the tubes and way too expensive for people to buy day passes not to mention the brand new lift that nobody can actually get to

Mt. Shasta Ski & Board Park used to be a good locals ski mountain. If you read the positive reviews, you will see that they are four to five years ago. The poor reviews start two to three years ago when the park was purchased by some resort gurus whose goal is to penny pinch, cut cost wherever, increase prices, and they are running the place into the ground. First, if you are like most, you like groomed runs. They only groom two or three runs per chair. They call grooming the area around the chair or get-back roads a run, but they are not. Their grooming quality is like running a bulldozer up and down the mountain. If they took care in grooming, that would cost more, so they don't. They frequently start up chairlifts late and close early. This also saves $$ but rips off the customer. I've only been coming up here for 34 years, and in that time previous to this year, I do not ever recall a chair shut down for wind. They now do it all the time, even when there is no wind. Why? Again, cutting corners. A while ago they terminated night skiing and changed it to twilight skiing shutting down at 7:00, and then on March 3, they announce twilight will end at 5:00. When? That day! They call it new spring hours, even though spring is almost a month away. This is another cost-saving gimmick. Back in the day, they had night skiing, and on Fridays, the lift ticket included a meal! This was a great incentive and night skiing was pretty busy. Communication is nonexistent, except for their new text message to let you know when chairlifts close or are not operating, so yeah, I get quite a few of those! Although when the lift starts at 9:30 instead of 9:00, they don't bother to tell you. The new chairlift, Gray Butte is on the back side of the ski area, and the access road is a 20 minute hike. You can pole it, but you'll be pretty worn out. The "alternative" access, which is not sanctioned, is off the back of Coyote going out of bounds down a steep slope with avalanche danger. But the only way out is the hike. Few runs on this new chair and there is a service road cutting across the runs every hundred or so yards. When you drive up their road, every 30 yards there is a hole in the middle of the road. Watch this or you will damage your vehicle. The road has not been resurfaced since it was put in. The parking is ok if you get there an hour early. Otherwise it is a free for all, and you'll do some walking to get up to the base, and you might also find yourself pinned in. If you come up, say, 30 minutes after the park opens on a busy weekend, you are likely to find yourself in a line and not able to drive in. They will only let one car in as one car leaves. Adult lift tickets for holiday rates, about half the season, are $99. This is way to much for a small park of this nature. A friend took her 3 grandkids up and got a lift ticket for herself, her daughter, and the 3 kids, rentals, and it cost $1000. No, I don't call that very family friendly.
The bottom line is Mt. Shasta Ski & Board Park is a great little mountain to have a good time, but sadly, it is being poorly run with a management team that ignores its customer base, and eventually it will come back to bite them.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced season passes, beautiful views, and a great place to enjoy a day with family and friends.

I use to enjoy getting a season pass every year. But, the park is famous for very short season.
And, with all that they raised the price from $199.00 to $349.00.
I may go once or twice a year now. I Went twice last year snow was horrible.

Will never go again!!! These people are scammers! Been a loyal customer for years and with the season getting shut down months early, they will not be reimbursing anyone that purchased their extremely over priced season pass, or offering any sort of discount for the next year. Instead they justify themselves by saying “minimum wage went up”. I asked what employees they had to pay if the resort has been closed and they already received our money? Rather than making this right, they blocked me on their Instagram. I am very disappointed in the way they are treating their local, loyal customers. They are asking way too much for their small resort. They barely(on a good day) have three small sketchy lifts, on top of that the food is lousy and way over priced as if they aren’t already collecting enough as it is. They are money hungry scammers taking advantage of their people.
